Update 12: Engine Tear down and modeling

Following a successful disassembly, team members Julian Celestino and Michael Blackmon took on other crucial tasks related to the engine’s virtual and physical presence. Julian focused on the physical aspects, meticulously checking wear surfaces of key engine components and replacing the oil pan with an aftermarket alternative to enhance performance. On the virtual front, Michael played a pivotal role by scanning the engine for CAD integration. As seen on slides 4 and 5, the dimensions have been validated within ±0.5 mm, for reference a human hair is typically .2mm. This dual approach, with Julian addressing the tangible components and Michael capturing the engine's digital representation, reflects a comprehensive strategy to ensure both the practical functionality and digital modeling aspects are addressed in the project. Their collaborative efforts contribute to a well-rounded and thorough exploration of the motorcycle's engine.
